About Culture Club 101
Culture Club 101 is a grass roots company that was conceived in October of 2008. Inspired by the book “Nourishing Traditions” by Sally Fallon, founder of the The Weston A. Price Foundation, we saw a need and desire for these almost forgotten foods and preparations. We are committed to bringing back into awareness the food traditions of the past that were useful and beneficial to human health and vitality. We offer classes and hands-on workshops to assist people in gaining confidence, particularly in the art of lacto-fermented, (cultured) foods. We present monthly lectures and films for education and inspiration. Internships and co-op memberships are also available for those with a passion about these principals. And, since food is the intrinsic part of our business, nutrient dense and delicious foods are regularly and delightfully enjoyed by all who come to Culture Club 101, be it in our classes, workshops, films, lectures, or, at our Farmers Market booth in Pasadena CA. Our Motto is and will always be: It’s all About the Food!
